Dominick Ruggiero PA-C

Dominick, a first generation Italian-American, resides in Chesapeake with his wife and three children (two boys and a girl). He earned his undergraduate at George Mason University and received his Master of Physician Assistant Studies at Alderson-Broaddus College. He always knew he wanted to be in the medical field in some aspect. While working as a patient transporter, he was exposed to multiple areas of medicine. Through this experience, he realized his calling as a Physician Assistant. During his clinical rotations at Alderson-Broaddus College, Dominick enjoyed how orthopaedics married his love for anatomy and physiology to patient care. Dominick has over a decade of experience as a Physician Assistant in the Hampton Roads area. He enjoys the cohesiveness of SMOC and their focus on patient care and safety. Dominick enjoys being involved in his local community and has been a preceptor at EVMS. When he's not working, he enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, running, and bike riding.
